The company has a standard workshop covering an area of 45,000 square meters and 200 skilled workers who possess 15 years of production experience.
Recently, Compact Container Systems (CCS) launched the 40-foot five-in-one foldable container SeaFold HC. Certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in Geneva, it is the world's first five-in-one foldable transport container. Its aim is to improve the problem of low operational efficiency, reduce unnecessary container transportation, and significantly reduce carbon emissions throughout the transportation and logistics supply chain.
It is estimated that more than one-fifth of the containers return to the port of origin empty. CCS claims that the SeaFold 40-foot container has the potential to reduce the cost of repositioning empty containers by 56%, save 80% of storage space, and reduce carbon emissions by 70%.
The design and manufacture of the SeaFold 40-foot container comply with the requirements of Lloyd's Register and Bureau Veritas, as well as the standards set by the International Organization for Standardization, the International Convention for Safe Containers, and the International Union of Railways. It is compatible with all standard port lifting equipment and container handling equipment.
According to Charlie Santos-Buch, Chairman and CEO of CCS, in terms of managing container transportation, maximizing storage capacity, and greatly reducing carbon emissions, the most significant feature of the SeaFold 40-foot container is that five foldable containers can be placed within the space occupied by a standard 40-foot HC (high cube) container. This design makes the containers take up less space on trucks, ships, and docks, enabling ports, docks, or warehouses to build a safer and more efficient operation and storage system.
He added, "Whether it's about cost savings or space savings, our containers can create a safe and efficient operation and storage system for ports, docks, or warehouses. This is particularly important during the peak shipping season, as congestion is severe at this time, and moving empty containers away becomes a top priority."
The SeaFold 40-foot container has a wide-ranging impact on the global supply chain. With the continuous development of global trade and the increasing demand for transportation efficiency, the application prospects of the five-in-one foldable maritime container are becoming more and more promising. It can be used not only in the maritime transportation field but also extended to the road and air transportation fields, providing more efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for various transportation modes.
